Do you offer rides on go-shred regularly? Well if you do not, maybe you should start doing so just right now! Were up to crown the person with the most rides offered on go-shred over the whole season, aka go-shredder of the year! Actually the rider of the year would have crowned himself by meeting the most new people and saving the most CO2 while having the most days on the mountain. Things money cant buy. Still we want to add some more glory and reward, which is why the rider of the year wins 1 week-end (Sat+ Sun) all inclusive! - transport to Dachstein - lifttickets for 2 Persons - accommodation Were gonna feature a picture of you on go shred and reward you with an environment saver badge as well!

This week its a special pleasure to announce TotW .. why? You might have occasionally heard this before.. but trust me this time it's the sole truth: we found the very most gentleman of snowboarding! **Chris Geng!** Sometimes its just hard to deal with kids trying to convince us of their opinion about snowboarding, when you remember its just a board and two bindings. There are no rules except for the ones you coerce yourself with! Its supposed to be fun, not to be the best or the most core or whatever. Sometimes i feel like kids behave like police officers and judges in one. Thats why its always great to ride with Chris! He wont tell you what you're allowed to and what not, hes just gonna take some laps with you to redeem from his daily working life. Down to earth and so chilled. He found balance through snowboarding. Thats something we all might try to reach one day! Occasionally he is filming with **[da-ruchte gang][1]**. New movie planned for 2012? Horsefeathers Iron Jam - recap

**Horsefeathers Iron Jam** took place on 28th of December at Eisenstein near the boarder of Germany. With lot of snow and really motivated riders, the jam was a big success. The first rides started training at 10 a.m and showed up with some nice tricks. During the whole day, the shredders proved their skills with 270 to transfer to fakie, handplants, backflips, 540, rodeo 720 over the barell and so one. We know Sebi from several openings, parties and shred actions. It's a funny guy always looking for a good shred. **Hey shredders!** Lots of powder came down here in the mountains. Good time to use the snow to do something other than ride on the slopes or in the parks. Go out, be creative and make use of all that snow! We are not your parents and we don’t want to teach you. Still we want to make you notice: Riding powder is more than dangerous right now! In almost every terrain you could start an avalanche like nothing! Stay safe and inspect yourself! Do you really need to ride this steep wide open powder field? Please.. don’t let yourself get too hyped.. Think twice, stay rational and use your brain. Panicking about your life is not fun. **Useful tips:** Check the avalanche hazard scale for your resort - Inspect your line before you ride it. You might want to think twice - Take your cellphone with you - Have the number of mountain rescue saved in your cellphone - Don’t ride alone - Don’t ride with others at the same time in the same powder field - Take your pieps (avalanche transceiver), probe and shovels with you! - Stay focused on what you do! Hello shred lovers, first of all we wish you a happy New Year, heath and satisfaction! A new year goes on, so don't worry be happy!!! For the start of 2012 we prepared a new go-shred lottery. This time we have lift tickets for **Scuol** and stuff from **Neff**. Participation is very easy. You have to offer a ride on go-shred and you can win! We'll draw the winners at the end of January.
