Saturday, 10th of February we had our 8th GAME at Snowpark Damüls and it was great! Due to the heavy snowfall beginning of December, there’s so much snow that the shaper crew could build a decent park with more kickers, trannis and lines you have ever seen.
As everybody was hyped to shred the park, it was just the cherry on the cake, that we came there to celebrate the GAME with this highly motivated shred heads. We started with the registration at 11:00 and step by step we realized that we never had so much registered riders before. Very impressive was the huge number of young shred kids, which took part for their very first time. What you want more! Freestyle scene in Damüls is alive.
At 12:15 the groups of riders, skiers and snowboarders started the challenges and in the meanwhile the crew prepared everything for the BBQ because you should always feed the kids, when they shred.
At around 15:00 all groups finished the GAME and few minutes later we did the price giving ceremony. With goodies from Volcom, Salomon, Stance and GIRO we made the kids happy.
All in all, its always a highlight of the season to celebrate the GAME of go-shred in Damüls and it always feels like coming home, when we meet Thomas, Snowpark Damüls pioneer for 24 years on this year and his passionate shaper crew. Thank you!
