What a season start!!! In the 16th season of go-shred, we’re stoked to kick of our event series 2025 with the stop at Snowpark Damüls. It feels like coming home.
The shaper crew around the head of park Thomas Alton is super motivated to build a flowy park with features for every kind of riding level. We arrived on Friday for doing the transportation of all the event stuff up to the shaper hut. Before starting the work, we were super motivated to check out the park, which was fully set up right in time before the event weekend. For making long story short, the park looks amazing and got a various flow which allows you to do your runs with a maximum of creativity.
Saturday morning, the crew arrived at 9:00 at the snowpark and finished the installation right in time, when the first shredders showed up and wanted to register for the event. With 8 groups of snowboarders, skiers, kids, teenagers and adults, we were once again stoked to see the great freestyle scene in Damüls. So many highly motivated freestyle winter sport enthusiasts were taking part, that once again it’s proved. Freestyle winter sport is bigger than ever …
Additional to the GAME we although showed the new Salomon Snowboards range from next season to all those who are interested in products of one of the most innovative brands in winter sports products. Little side note: Salomon is producing winter sport equipment since 1947 and invented several products in different sports categories which changed the scene till today.
All in all, we were lucky with the weather, had a lot of smiling participants and great vibes during the whole day. We could give goodies to 24 participants cause what’s better than give great stuff to shredders who try something new and step out of there comfort zone.
We could reward all those shredders with price from Volcom, Stance, Giro, Salomon and Yeti. Our latest addition to the supporter league. Big thank you to all of you for pushing the SHRED with us.
