#1 GAME of go-shred | Snowpark Damüls I 2026

Last Saturday, we celebrated the first GAME of go-shred of the 2026 season. We always love coming to Damüls and shredding at Snowpark Damüls. This year marked the 9th edition of the GAME of go-shred, and we couldn’t be more stoked. Once again, we set a new record for the number of participants, enjoyed great weather, an awesome park, and an atmosphere you couldn’t ask for more.

On Saturday morning, we set up our course while a few clouds were still hanging in the sky. But as soon as the first riders arrived, the clouds cleared, the sun came out, and we were rewarded with perfect contest conditions.

With nearly 60 participants, we broke another participation record. The freestyle community in Damüls is huge and steadily growing, which was clearly visible thanks to the kids’ coaching sessions led by Lea & Luki, the local freestyle coaches, running at the same time. This means that next year, even more shredders will be part oft eh GAME, improving not only their riding skills but also their social skills.

The GAME of go-shred is all about creating a sense of social responsibility. Participants start in small groups based on their equipment (ski or snowboard) and riding level and progress through five different disciplines designed to support and challenge their riding.

What makes the GAME special: there are no judges. The riders are responsible for documenting their own results. And you know what? It works. No discussions, no complaints about hand drags, single or double knee grabs, or spin-to-win debates. Everyone is respectful, tolerant, and supportive. What more could you ask for?

See for yourself — the GAME of go-shred at Snowpark Damüls is always a highlight. We’re beyond stoked to watch the next generation grow, progress, and have fun. For the winners, we handed out tons of goodies from Volcom, Giro, Stance, Salomon Snowboards, and YETI.

Additionally, we hosted a Salomon Snowboards test booth, where riders could test boards and bindings from the upcoming season. As we all know, testing is key — nobody wants to buy a pig in a poke.

If you couldn’t make it to Damüls, the next GAME of go-shred will take place at Nordkette Skyline Park this coming Saturday, February 14th. Same procedure as in Damüls:
GAME of go-shred, BBQ & drinks for all athletes, and a FREE Salomon Snowboards test of the new Winter 26/27boards and bindings.

Big shout-out to Damüls Faschina and Snowpark Damüls for having us. We can’t wait to be back soon — and at the latest, we’ll see you again in 2027 for our 10th anniversary.
