On Saturday, 18th of April, the go-shred team was at Nordkette for the official SEASON ENDER. The shaper crew rebuild the park and we were lucky with the weather, Saturday was a royal day. Blue sky, bright sunshine and a spring temperature made it a perfect day to celebrate the shred above the city of Innsbruck.
At around 10:00 we finished the installation and could enjoy the empty park till the first shred heads showed up. At 11ish, we announced the missions of the day. This time, there was no contest going down, just a classy MVPs AWARD with prices from Salomon Snowboards, Giro Snow and Yeti. Everybody was hyped and it was impressive to see how shredders of all ages gave their best to impress.
Beside this, all our guests were invited to test the new Salomon Snowboards and bindings, which we showcased at the bottom of the park. Additional we played some fine tunes, fired up the barbeque and served some Spezi – Das Original to the motivated crowd.
Around 15:00 we started the prizegiving ceremony. We had 2 pairs of Salomon Snowboards boots, four pairs of GIRO goggles and as the very highlight, we had a YETI cooler and a YETI bag.
And once again, we wrote go-shred history, not only with the SEASON ENDER but although with the season 25/26, the 17TH season where we are independently driving the shred & the stoke for all those who would give the shirt off their back for the SHRED.
All in all in the season 25/26, we run 9 Salomon Snowboards tests and 8 go-shred Events in 3 different countries. We barbecued 860 sausages, offered more than 40 cases of Spezi and gave goodies from Volcom, Salomon Snowboards, Giro snow goggles and helmets, Stance stuff, Transform gloves and YETI coolers, mugs, merchandise away in an approximate value close to small new car. And that’s why, now it’s time to relax and to enjoy the memories of all those unique moments. Hhmmm, and perhaps go to some glacier resorts to do some spring shred.
