Wir erweiterten unser Rail BINGO zu einem Slopestyle BINGO. Gemeinsam mit den Mayrhofner Bergbahnen und der Penken Park Shaper Crew realisierten wir einen Slopestyle Kurs, bestehend aus einer Jib Section und einer Jump Section, wo die auf dem Bingozettel angegebenen Tricks gelandet werden mussten.

Weil unser Hauptanliegen ist, möglichst alle Freestyler zu erreichen, egal ob Ski- oder Snowboardfahrer, egal ob Anfänger oder Profi, egal ob Mann oder Frau versuchen wir immer wieder Events zu machen, wo der Spaß, die Verbesserung und die Gemeinschaft im Vordergrund stehen. Und es hat ein weiteres Mal geklappt.

Allen Teilnehmern wurde ein Bingo Zettel ihren Fähigkeiten entsprechend zu geordnet und nun ging es darum so viele der Tricks, Hälfte auf dem Kicker, andere Hälfte auf dem Rail zu landen. Nachdem wir alle Klarheiten beseitigt hatten und alle verstanden hatten worum es geht, wie der Kontest abläuft, starteten wir die Session.

Und unglaublich aber wahr, ein weiteres Mal war das Wetter auf unserer Seite und der Kontest verlief ohne Verzögerungen bei milden Temperaturen und durchgehend passabler Sicht. Alle Teilnehmer waren begeistert von dem Format und wollten vor lauter Adrenalin und Endorphin gar nicht mehr aufhören.

Nach etwa 2 stündiger Session gab es die Siegerehrung, wo es für alle BINGOs Preise von greenroom.at, Vans, transform gloves & Giro Snow. Anschließend wurde sich dann bei wohlverdientem BBQ mit gratis Spezi – Das Original ausgetauscht, über Tricks gefachsimpelt oder einfach nur gechillt …
Wir möchten uns bei allen Teilnehmern bedanken, bei den Mayrhofener Bergbahnen, der Penken Park Shaper crew für die Unterstützung und das Vertrauen in die Arbeit von go-shred.

We did it again! Another piece of go-shred history went down last Saturday at Penken Park – Mayrhofen. We upgraded or Rail BINGO to a real Slopestyle BINGO.
With the help of the Mayrhofener Bergbahnen and the Penken Park Shaper crew we built a slopestyle course consisting of a jib section and a jump section. We did that to make all sorts of freestylers happy, no matter if skiers or snowboarders, beginners or professionals, because we like them all and want to show them our love for shredding!
That’s why we had a pro and a beginner section where our participants had to do their tricks. All in all there were 8 kicker and 8 rail tricks to do to get all the points! Once we had answered all the questions about this new contest format, everybody was stoked about the idea of playing BINGO in one of the biggest snowparks in Austria.
Once again, Lady Luck was on our side. During the whole day there were only about 15 minutes when it was cloudy and foggy and some single snowflakes falling down but the rest of the day it was great. All the riders were stoked and after a 2-hour jam session they could hardly stop trying more and more tricks.
We finished this unique event at Penken Park with the price giving ceremony where we had tons of prices from our friends from the industry: greenroom.at, Vans, transform gloves & Giro Snow goggles for all the playas. Straight after the price giving ceremony we fired up the barbecue, where we offered free Spezi – Das Original and Bosna to all the brave shred heads.
