Last Saturday, 24th of February, we did another BINGO at one of the most famous Snowparks in Austria, at Penken Park Mayrhofen. A perfect setup was waiting for us and all our guests.
As you may know, we’re running the BINGO on a slopestyle course, consisting of a slide section and a kicker section. As we want to help all kind of riding levels to improve their trick level, we have a tube and a small kicker for the intermediate riders and a down rail and a bigger kicker for the advanced riders. This setup allows every rider to stick two tricks in one run and all in all there’re 16 tricks to get first place in the category. Consequence is, you will do tricks you don’t do very often or you have never done before to get the Bingos. And what’s better than sticking new tricks?
At 11am we finished the setup and were ready to open the registration. Step by step the first participants showed up for taking part. Even though the big storm from the day before invited for unforgettable powderuns, a bunch of motivated park rats showed up to get the bingos and those goodies from our partners of the industry: Salomon, Volcom, Giro Snow and Stance.
At around noon we started the BINGO with perfect conditions and all of us had a great day. During the Bingo, everyone could test the new boards of Salomon Snowboards at our booth just in front of the shapers house. People were stoked to see the upcoming range of the Salomon Snowboards and bindings from 24/25. After the Bingo, we fired up the BBQ and served some drinks to all our participants, cause nothing is better than getting free food & drinks after a good session.
At 3.15 pm we did the price giving ceremony. People were stoked about the goodies. The first places from category Snowboard & Ski were even more hyped to get a brand new Salomon Snowboard, the ultimate park weapon, the #huckknifepo and the QST Echo, all-mountain freestyle blanks. What’s better than finishing a day with a new toy and some new tricks in the repertoire…?
