Am 31. Oktober veranstalteten wir zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte der Skatehalle Innsbruck eine Halloween Party. Zunächst waren alle ein bisschen skeptisch, wie und was nun passieren würde.
Wir organisierten Scheinwerfer, Halloween Kostüme und Deko Material und den Meister des Skateboarfilmens in Innsbruck Peter, um mit seiner Hilfe einen Streifen für die Geschichtsbücher zu produzieren. https://player.vimeo.com/video/243828876

Nachdem wir das Drehbuch vorgestellt hatten und alle in den Plan eingeweiht hatten, schalteten wir das Licht aus und begannen mit dem Spektakel. Wir blieben meist etwa eine Viertel Stunde an jedem Obstakle, um von jedem die besten Shoots zu bekommen.
Nach und nach gewöhnten sich alle an den Ablauf und schlussendlich, als es dann Zeit war nach Hause zu gehen, wollte eine kleine Gruppe von hartgesottenen Halloweenmonstern gar nicht gehen. Erst als wir das Licht anmachten, war dann wirklich klar, dass Halloween jetzt vorbei war.
Aber im kommenden Jahr starten wir wieder eine Halloween Show und haben uns auch schon ein paar neue Features einfallen lassen. An der Stelle vielen Dank an alle beteiligten für eure Hilfe, Offenheit und Liebe für Skateboarden und Bmx.
Und natürlich nicht zu vergessen all unsere Unterstützer wie XDouble, Innsbruck, Ride in Pleasure, Spezi – Das Original, blue-tomato und schließlich die Skatehalle Innsbruck, die immer dabei ist, wenn’s darum geht Spaß, Kreativität und Sport unter einen Hut zu bringen.
ENGLISCH VERSION
On 31st of October, we celebrated Halloween at the Skatehalle Innsbruck for the first time. At first we were all a bit sceptical because nobody exactly knew what could or should happen at the very first Halloween show in the history of Innsbruck’s skateboarding scene.
We organized spotlights, various Halloween accessories and the videographer Peter Mader, a mastermind behind the lens of skateboard filming. Peter and I decided to stay at each obstacle for some minutes to get good shots of all the riders, no matter if they respected the dress code or not.
Once we had announced the start, we turned off the lights, turned some horror feeling music on and were good to go. After a while all guests, skateborders, bmxers and spectators got used to the scenario and had good fun. At the very end just after closing time, we had to turn on all the lights to kick out the last motivated guests because there are always a few who don’t want to stop the session.
We want to say thank you to everyone involved for being open to new approaches to skateboarding. We also want to thank all our supporters such as XDouble, Innsbruck, Ride in Pleasure, Spezi – Das Original, blue-tomato and last but not least BIG UPS to the Skatehalle Innsbruck for always pushing the SHRED!
